I use eggs, cottage cheese, worchestershire sauce, grated onion, grated green pepper and a grated hamburger bun.  I mix brown sugar, dry mustard, nutmeg and catsup and spread over the top.  My meatloaf is a favorite around here.

Hi Marissa,  I tried using cottage cheese in my meatloaf and to my surprise, it was delicious.  Quite honestly I couldn't taste the cottage cheese but my meatloaf was very moist.
PS  Cottage cheese isn't one my favorite dairy products.

I have to admit, I never thought about cottage cheese in meatloaf either, but I do use it in my lasagna instead of ricotta and no one can tell.  I think I'll try it since my meatloaf has been dry.

I have a very simple recipe for meatloaf that I use a lot--mainly meat. If anyone wants the one I use, please let me know.

However, your recipe sounds wonderful. Would you please share it?
