Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 green or red bell pepper (or 1/2 of each), thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1 package McCormick® Thick And Zesty Spaghetti Sauce Seasoning Mix
- 1 3/4 cups water
- 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add bell pepper, onion and mushrooms; cook and stir 5 minutes.
- 2 Stir in Sauce Mix, water and tomato paste. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3 Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
