- Spiced Honey
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Nutmeg
- Fresh Figs and Goat Cheese
- 8 large fresh figs
- 3 ounces goat cheese, chèvre
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Microwave honey in small microwavable bowl on HIGH 30 seconds or until warmed. Stir in lemon peel, cinnamon, cardamom and nutmeg. Set aside
- 2 Cut a small slice off bottom of each fig so that it stands upright. Quarter each fig, cutting just halfway down the fig. Press a small chunk of cheese into center of each fig. Place on small foil-lined baking pan
- 3 Bake 10 minutes or until cheese is melted. Place a fig on each serving plate. Drizzle with spiced honey and serve immediately
