- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 5 strips lemon peel
- 1 McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Saigon Cinnamon Sticks
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Cardamom
- 1/8 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Nutmeg
- 1 pound dried figs, halved
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Bring honey, water, lemon peel and spices to boil in medium saucepan. Add figs; cover and simmer 7 minutes. Cool to room temperature
- 2 Serve figs with syrup as a topping for ice cream, on a cheese plate, as an appetizer or a side dish.
