Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup rum
- 2 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Chipotle Chile Pepper
- 1 large pineapple, peeled, cored, cut into 2x1-inch pieces
- 2 ripe bananas, peeled, cut into 2x1-inch pieces
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Stir first 6 ingredients in small bowl until sugar dissolves. Set aside
- 2 Thread fruit alternately onto 6 double skewers. Brush with spice mixture. Let stand 5 minutes
- 3 Grill or broil fruit skewers on medium heat 10 minutes or until golden brown, basting with spice mixture and turning occasionally. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired
