Ingredients
- 2 1/3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Coarse Ground Black Pepper
- 3/4 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Thyme Leaves
- 1 1/4 pounds thin carrots, trimmed and peeled
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Place water, butter, salt and pepper in large skillet; bring to simmer on medium heat. Remove from heat. Add carrots, arranging in a single layer. Cover and let stand 10 minutes.
- 2 Return to heat. Cook on high, uncovered, to return to simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low; simmer 20 to 25 minutes or until most of the water has evaporated and carrots are very tender.
- 3 Add thyme leaves, tossing gently to mix. Cook, turning carrots often, until water has evaporated and carrots are glazed, about 5 minutes.
