  • 1 small yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 pounds ripe tomatoes, core removed and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons red wine
  • 2 tablespoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Italian Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons sherry vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Heat oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven on medium heat. Add onion and garlic; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender.
