INGREDIENTS
Ingredients
- 2-3 beers of your choice
- 2 pound of country style ribs
- 2 tablespoon Stubb’s Bar-B-Q Spice Rub
- 1 bottle of Stubb’s Sticky Sweet Bar-B-Q Sauce
- 2 tablespoon coconut oil
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Coat your ribs in Stubb’s Bar-B-Q Spice Rub on both sides and set aside. Next, heat a dutch oven on medium high heat and add 2 tbsp coconut oil. Brown your ribs on both sides (this will need to be done in batches), then remove them and set on a plate until all ribs have been browned on both sides. Next, add your ribs back into the dutch oven and add the beer so that the ribs are fully immersed in beer. Bring the dutch oven to boil for 10 minutes, then let the ribs continue to simmer on low for another 45 minutes. Always make sure that the ribs are fully submersed in beer – add more if needed.
- 2 Next, prepare your grill for medium direct heat- about 350° degrees. Mix ½ cup of the beer from the dutch oven and combine with ¾ cup of Stubb’s Sticky Sweet Bar-B-Q Sauce. Place your ribs on the grill and cover in the Bar-B-Q sauce glaze. Let them grill until char marks have formed and then flip, about 6-7 minutes per side, basting with more glaze.
- 3 Once you’ve achieved nice char marks on both sides, remove the ribs and tent under foil for 10 minutes. Serve with your favorite sides!
