Ingredients
- 8 ounces penne pasta
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 package (14 ounces) Zatarain’s® Blackened Seasoned Chicken Smoked Sausage, halved lengthwise and sliced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Zatarain's® New Orleans Style Blackened Seasoning, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Parsley Flakes
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain well. Set aside.
- 2 Cook and stir sausage in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat until lightly browned, about 6 to 8 minutes. Remove from pan.
- 3 Melt butter in same skillet on medium heat. Whisk in cream, Blackened Seasoning and garlic powder. Bring to simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese; cook 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted, stirring occasionally. Return sausage to pan. Add pasta; toss to coat well. Sprinkle with parsley and additional shredded Parmesan, if desired, before serving.
