Seafood Dirty Rice

INGREDIENTS

Servings: 6 (1 cup)

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 package Zatarain's® Dirty Rice Dinner Mix
  • 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add bell peppers; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. Add water; bring to boil
  • 2 Stir in Rice Mix; return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes
  • 3 Stir in shrimp and green onions; mix well. Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and rice is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
