Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 2 1/2 cups water
- 1 package Zatarain's® Dirty Rice Dinner Mix
- 1 pound medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Melt butter in large skillet on medium heat. Add bell peppers; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. Add water; bring to boil
- 2 Stir in Rice Mix; return to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes
- 3 Stir in shrimp and green onions; mix well. Cook, uncovered, 5 minutes or until shrimp turn pink and rice is tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
