Servings: 3 (1 cup)

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
  • 1 3/4 cups water
  • 1 package ZATARAIN'S® Rice Pilaf
  • 1 cup frozen cut green beans
  • 2 tablespoons sliced almonds, toasted

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add shallots; cook and stir 1 to 2 minutes or until fragrant.
  • 2 Stir water and Rice Mix into skillet. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes.
  • 3 Stir in green beans. Cover and cook 10 minutes longer or until rice is tender. Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes. Fluff rice with fork before serving. Sprinkle with almonds.
