McCormick® Ground White Pepper always starts with the whole berries of the Piper nigrum plant. The berries are picked when ripe and soaked in water to remove the outer husks. The remaining white peppercorn is then dried and ground. Its mild pepper flavor is ideal for seasoning chicken, seafood and pasta, as well as rubs and marinades. Usage Tips
