- 1 tablespoon oil
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Hot Madras Curry Powder
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Coriander
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Garam Masala Blend
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Ginger
- 1 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Ground Saigon Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Gourmet™ Organic Cayenne Red Pepper
- 1 1/2 pounds boneless beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 large tomato, finely chopped
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 1/4 cup water
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Heat oil in 5-quart Dutch oven or large wide saucepot on medium heat. Add onions; cook and stir 5 minutes or until onions begin to brown. Add garlic; cook and stir 1 minute
- 2 Stir in seasonings; cook and 30 seconds or until fragrant. Add beef; cook and stir 7 to 8 minutes or until no longer pink
- 3 Stir in tomato, tomato paste and water. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 minutes
