- 1 1/4 pounds lean ground beef
- 1 tablespoon plain dry bread crumbs
- 1 package Lawry's® Taco Seasoning Mix
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 8 (6-inch) submarine rolls, toasted
- 8 lettuce leaves

- 1 Mix ground beef, bread crumbs and 1 tablespoon of the Taco Seasoning Mix in medium bowl until well blended. Shape into 24 meatballs.
- 2 Heat oil in large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Brown meatballs; drain fat. Stir in tomato sauce and remaining Taco Seasoning Mix. Bring to boil on high heat. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- 3 To serve, line rolls with lettuce. Top with meatballs. Top with assorted toppings, if desired.
