Thai Chili Sauce with Garlic

INGREDIENTS

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces yellow chiles
  • 1 ounce garlic cloves
  • 1 1/2 cups rice vinegar
  • Pinch salt
  • Sugar to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 GRIND chiles and garlic to a paste with a mortar and pestle or in a food processor. Place chile mixture in bowl. Add vinegar, salt and sugar; stir until sugar is dissolved.
  • 2 STORE in refrigerator.
  • 3 Makes 2 cups.
