Ingredients
- 1 fresh beef brisket, about 3 pounds, trimmed
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's® Seasoned Salt

Substitutions available
- black pepper coarse ground
- 3 medium carrots, coarsely chopped
- 3 celery ribs, coarsely chopped
- 3 medium onions, coarsely chopped
- 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2 packages McCormick® Brown Gravy Mix
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dry red wine
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 325°F. Sprinkle meat with seasoned salt and seasoned pepper. Place in roasting pan or Dutch oven. Place carrots, celery and onions around meat.
- 2 Mix tomatoes, Gravy Mixes, water and wine in medium bowl. Pour over meat. Cover.
- 3 Roast 3 to 3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Transfer meat and vegetables to serving platter. Slice meat across the grain into 1/4-inch thick slices. Skim fat from pan juices. Serve meat and vegetables with pan juices.
