Ingredients
- 1 beef eye round roast, about 3 pounds
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 teaspoons Lawry's® Coarse Ground With Parsley Garlic Salt
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's® Colorful Coarse Ground Blend Seasoned Pepper
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- Water
- 1 package Lawry's® Brown Gravy Mix
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 325°F. Place roast in foil-lined roasting pan. Brush with oil. Mix garlic salt and seasoned pepper. Sprinkle evenly over roast. Arrange onion around roast. Add 1/4 cup water to pan.
- 2 Roast 1 1/2 hours or until desired doneness. Remove roast from oven. Transfer to serving platter. Cover loosely with foil. Let stand 10 to 15 minutes before slicing.
- 3 Meanwhile, pour drippings into measuring cup. Add enough water to measure 1 cup. Pour into small saucepan. Add gravy mix; mix until well blended. Bring to boil on medium-high heat, stirring occasionally. Reduce heat to low; simmer 1 minute or until gravy is thickened, stirring occasionally. Serve gravy with sliced roast beef.
