INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Season chicken evenly with 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once. Remove from skillet.
  • 2 Stir vegetables into skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender.
  • 3 Stir in tomato sauce, basil, garlic and remaining salt and pepper. Bring to simmer. Cook and stir 10 minutes. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat to low; simmer 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with cooked pasta or rice, if desired.
