Ingredients
- 1 pound thin-sliced boneless chicken breast cutlets
- 1 teaspoon salt, divded
- 1/2 teaspoon Lawry's® Casero Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound sliced baby bella mushrooms
- 1 medium bell pepper, seeded and thinly sliced
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons Lawry's® Casero Basil
- 1 teaspoon Lawry's® Casero Garlic Powder
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Season chicken evenly with 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and 1/4 teaspoon of the pepper. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 5 minutes or until lightly browned, turning once. Remove from skillet.
- 2 Stir vegetables into skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until tender.
- 3 Stir in tomato sauce, basil, garlic and remaining salt and pepper. Bring to simmer. Cook and stir 10 minutes. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat to low; simmer 2 minutes or until heated through. Serve with cooked pasta or rice, if desired.
