Ingredients
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup milk
- 7 teaspoons Simply Asia® Bang Bang Seasoning, divided
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 3/4 cup corn starch
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Canola oil, for frying
- Chopped green onions (optional)
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Mix mayonnaise, milk and 4 teaspoons of the Seasoning in large bowl. Set sauce aside until ready to serve. Add oil to large deep skillet, filling no more than 1/3 full. Heat oil to 350°F on medium-high heat.
- 2 Mix buttermilk and remaining 3 teaspoons Seasoning in medium bowl. Place corn starch in shallow dish. Add shrimp to buttermilk mixture; toss to coat. Working in batches, coat shrimp in corn starch, shaking off any excess. Carefully place shrimp in hot oil. Fry 1 to 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towel-lined plate. Keep warm.
- 3 Drizzle hot cooked shrimp with reserved sauce, toss to coat or serve sauce on the side as a dip. Sprinkle with green onions, if desired. Serve immediately.
