- 1 pound ground bison
- 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Applewood Rub
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1 small red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 hamburger rolls

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Mix ground bison and 2 tablespoons of the Rub until well blended. Shape into 4 patties.
- 2 Place onions and peppers on large sheet of heavy duty aluminum foil. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with remaining 2 teaspoons of the Rub. Fold up sides and seal edges to form flat pouch.
- 3 Grill burgers over medium heat 4 to 6 minutes per side or until cooked through (internal temperature of 165ºF), brushing with barbecue sauce during last few minutes of cooking. Meanwhile, grill vegetable packet 7 to 8 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- 4 Top burgers with peppers and onions and serve on rolls with lettuce, tomato and additional barbecue sauce, if desired.
