INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Mix all ingredients except nutmeg in large saucepan. Bring just to gentle simmer on medium heat. Do not boil or allow to bubble rapidly.
  • 2 Reduce heat to low; simmer gently 15 minutes. Serve warm sprinkled lightly with ground nutmeg, if desired.

    Test Kitchen Tip: for a slightly sweeter, fruitier version, stir in 1 cup apple cider along before simmering.
