Ingredients
- 1 refrigerated pie crust, (from 14.1-ounce package)
- 1 can (15 ounces) pumpkin
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 teaspoons McCormick® Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 4 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract, divided
- 2 cups coarsely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup light corn syrup
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare crust as directed on package for one-crust pie using 9-inch deep dish pie plate. Mix pumpkin, granulated sugar, eggs, flour, pumpkin pie spice and 1 teaspoon of the vanilla in medium bowl until well blended and smooth. Pour into pie crust. Sprinkle pecans evenly over pumpkin layer.
- 2 Mix brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, remaining 1 tablespoon vanilla and salt in another medium bowl until smooth. Slowly pour corn syrup mixture over pecans.
- 3 Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until just set in center. Cool completely on wire rack.
