Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoons McCormick® All Natural Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Almond Extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Sprinkles or chocolate chips, for decorating, if desired
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Add egg and extracts; mix well. Gradually beat in flour and salt until well mixed. Scrape down the sides of the bowl.
- 2 Line cookie tray with parchment paper; chill in refrigerator. Preheat oven to 350°F. Follow cookie press Manufacturers’ directions to attach desired decorative plate. Scrape dough into the cookie press. Hold the press perpendicular to a prepared chilled cookie tray, press out cookies about 2-inches apart on tray. Decorate with sprinkles or chocolate chips if desired.
- 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes. Remove to wire rack; cool completely.
