Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 cans (28 ounces each) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Brown meat in 4-quart saucepot on medium-high heat. Drain fat. Remove meat; set aside.
- 2 Heat oil in same saucepot on medium heat. Add onion; cook and stir 5 minutes or until softened.
- 3 Stir in meat, tomatoes and remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
