- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 1/2 teaspoons orange zest
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Chicken Seasoning, divided
- 8 chicken drumsticks (about 2 pounds)
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 For the Short Ribs, whisk Marinade Mix, lime juice, agave nectar and oil in small bowl. Place short ribs in large resealable plastic bag. Add marinade; turn to coat well. Refrigerate 8 hours, or overnight.
- 2 Mix honey, butter, zest, soy sauce and 2 teaspoons of the Seasoning in small bowl. Set aside.
- 3 Meanwhile, place drumsticks on cutting board. With a small sharp knife, cut around the narrow, bony end of each drumstick, cutting through the skin, meat and tendons to the bone. Holding the bony end of the drumstick, press meat down towards the thick, meaty end to form a “lollipop”.
- 4 Sprinkle chicken with remaining 1 tablespoon Seasoning to coat.
- 5 Preheat grill on medium heat to 325°F. Place chicken on grill and close lid. Grill 20 minutes, turning occasionally. Open lid; grill 20 to 25 minutes longer or until chicken is cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F). Brush with glaze during last 2 minutes of grilling.
