Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 pound boneless beef sirloin steak, cut into 1/2-inch chunks
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 can (16 ounces) black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can (14 1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 package McCormick® Chili Seasoning Mix
  • 1 package (8 ounces) processed cheese product, cubed

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1 Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add beef; cook 4 minutes or until browned on all sides. Remove from skillet.
  • 2 Stir onion and bell pepper into same skillet; cook and stir 3 minutes or until tender. Stir in beans, tomatoes and Seasoning Mix. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 Return beef to skillet. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add cheese; cook and stir 5 minutes longer or until beef is tender and cheese is melted.

TIPS AND TRICKS

Serving Suggestion: Top dip with sour cream and chopped jalapeño peppers. Serve with toasted French bread slices or crackers.
