- 1 package (16 ounces) pound cake mix
- 2 teaspoons McCormick® Imitation Almond Extract
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Lemon Extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare cake mix as directed on package, adding almond flavor. Pour batter into greased and floured loaf or Bundt pan.
- 2 Bake as directed on package. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan; cool completely on wire rack.
- 3 Mix confectioners' sugar, water and lemon extract. Spoon glaze over cake. Top with sliced almonds.
