- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, divided
- 1 medium yellow onion, chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 4 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning
- 2 cups water
- 2 packages McCormick® Brown Gravy Mix

all-purpose potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks

- Yukon gold potatoes, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 3/4 pound carrots, cut into 1-inch chunks
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Pat beef dry with paper towels. Sprinkle evenly with black pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in Instant Pot on Sauté setting. Add half of the beef to pot. Cook and stir 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from pot. Repeat with remaining 1 tablespoon oil and beef. Remove beef; set aside.
- 2 Add onion to pot. Cook and stir 6 minutes or until lightly browned. Stir in tomato paste and Italian Seasoning. Cook and stir 1 minute, until darkened in color. Add water to pot, stirring to scrape up any brown bits. Stir in Gravy Mix. Return beef to pot. Add potatoes and carrots. Close lid. Set Valve to Seal.
- 3 Set to cook for 25 minutes on HIGH PRESSURE/MANUAL. When done, allow pressure to release naturally. Open the lid once pressure inside the pot is completely released. (Check manufacturer’s manual for safe operating directions.) Serve immediately.
