Ingredients
- 8 ounces wagon wheel pasta
- 8 ounces Italian sausage
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Minced Onions
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
- 1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 1 jar (24 ounces) spaghetti sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese, (8 ounces)
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain well.
- 2 Meanwhile, break up Italian sausage in large skillet. Cook on medium heat 5 minutes or until cooked through. Drain fat.
- 3 Mix sausage, spaghetti sauce, onions, basil, oregano and pepper in 9-inch deep dish pie plate or 2 1/2-quart casserole. Add pasta; mix well. Sprinkle with mozzarella slices.
- 4 Bake 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and mixture is heated through.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Pepperoni Pizza Pot Pie: Prepare as directed, substituting 8 ounces pepperoni, cut into slices or chunks, for Italian sausage.
