Ingredients
- 3 pounds beef brisket, trimmed and cut in half
- 1 package (8 ounces) sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, cut into wedges
- 1 package McCormick® Au Jus Gravy Seasoning Mix
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons French's® Classic Worcestershire Sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Place 1/2 of the brisket in slow cooker. Top with mushrooms and onion.
- 2 Mix Gravy Mix, flour, water and Worcestershire sauce until well blended. Pour 1/2 of the mixture over meat and vegetables. Top with remaining brisket. Pour remaining seasoning mixture over top. Cover.
- 3 Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH. Remove brisket and vegetables to serving platter.
- 4 Slice brisket across the grain into thin slices. Skim fat from sauce. Serve over brisket and vegetables.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Slow Cooker Tip: For best results, do not remove cover during cooking.
