INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 In small mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of the ricotta with 1 tablespoon honey and 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Ground Cinnamon; whisk until well combined.
- 2 In a second small bowl, combine remaining ricotta with 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt; whisk until well combined. Set both ricotta bowls in fridge.
- 3 In medium bowl, combine diced apples with 1 teaspoon McCormick Ground Cinnamon. Toss until apples are coated evenly.
- 4 Preheat skillet over medium heat. Melt butter, stirring constantly as the butter turns a golden amber color. Add remaining 2 tablespoons honey and stir for another 30 seconds until honey and butter are combined. Add the cinnamon apples and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until apples have softened, about 4 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- 5 Assemble toast: top toasted bread with alternating dollops of honey-cinnamon ricotta and salted ricotta. Top ricotta with honey-cinnamon apples. Top with an extra drizzle of honey and sprinkle of sea salt if desired.
