Ingredients
- 8 slices bacon
- 1 bunch (about 1 pound) fresh asparagus, ends trimmed
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon McCormick® Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Pure Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Sea Salt Grinder
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1 Preheat oven to 400°F. Place 2 layers of paper towels on microwave-safe plate. Place bacon in single layer on paper towels. Cover with 1 layer of paper towel. Microwave on HIGH 2 to 3 minutes or until bacon is partially cooked. Set aside to cool slightly.
- 2 2. Toss asparagus with oil in large bowl. Sprinkle with garlic powder, black pepper and salt, tossing to coat. Divide asparagus evenly into 8 bundles. Wrap 1 piece of bacon around the center of each asparagus bundle, tucking in ends to secure. Place on foil-lined shallow baking pan.
- 3 Roast 7 to 10 minutes or until asparagus are tender-crisp and bacon is crispy, turning once.
